Amazon is an end-user of bioplastic packaging and will test the prototypes developed in the TERRIFIC project against the performance standards needed to survive our operational environment. We will provide end user feedback on the protype performance to development teams in order to support continued improvement of these bioplastic packaging applications.

The Amazon team brings expertise in materials and packaging. Specifically, we deeply understand the material qualities and packaging performance necessary for use in our global operations. We will test the prototypes developed in the TERRIFIC project against our business requirements and provide feedback to the broader team to help continue to improve these new bioplastic applications.

Amazon wants to support broader change in industry to reinvent plastics and supports TERRIFIC as a key partnership in that effort.
