Bringing younger generations closer to the themes of bioeconomy, bio-based materials, circular economy and packaging innovation: this is the goal of the new educational programme developed as part of the European TERRIFIC project by Cluster SPRING, in collaboration with Novamont and under the patronage of Confindustria Romagna.
The initiative is aimed at upper secondary schools and offers an experience designed to bring these topics directly into the classroom through simple and engaging tools. The programme includes an approximately two-hour lesson, supported by a ready-to-use educational kit, as well as a puzzle magazine featuring games and activities focused on the bioeconomy, designed to spark curiosity and encourage interactive learning.
The programme will then continue at Ecomondo 2026, where participating classes will be invited to visit the TERRIFIC corner at the Legacoop stand. Here, students will have the opportunity to learn more about the project and discover the eight flagship packaging solutions developed as part of TERRIFIC.
The initiative aims to build a bridge between education, research and innovation, giving students the opportunity to discover first-hand the technologies and solutions contributing to the transition towards more circular and sustainable production models.
