Sustainable Packaging: TERRIFIC Project Showcases Flagship Solutions in Valladolid

On May 27th, the city of Valladolid (Universidad de Valladolid) will host a key event dedicated to innovation in sustainable packaging: the Multi-Actor Interest Group (MIG) Event organized as a part of the TERRIFIC project and hosted by project partner Celmatt.

The public event will offer a valuable opportunity to explore the latest developments and progress achieved within the project, with a strong focus on advanced biobased materials and high-performance barrier solutions. These innovations are playing a crucial role in shaping a more sustainable and efficient future for the packaging sector.

During the event, four flagship products developed within the TERRIFIC project will be presented:

  • Yogurt cups, by ITENE
  • Coffee capsules by MOSES
  • High-performance barrier film by DSM-Firmenich
  • Foamed thermobox by CELLMAT

Through these concrete examples, participants will gain insight into how the solutions developed within TERRIFIC contribute to reducing the environmental impact of packaging while enhancing functional performance.

The event is aimed at stakeholders, companies, researchers, and industry professionals interested in discovering the future of sustainable packaging and engaging with key actors involved in the TERRIFIC project.
